The Visual Artist’s Collective (VAC), an art organization based in Henry County, held their annual Christmas With the Arts event. The event, which involves the Henry Arts Alliance and Henry Players, features some of the best creative talents in the County.
The VAC portion is the year-end art contest, where prizes are awarded in two categories. Additionally, ticket holders vote for Best of Show. Morrison’s piece entitled “Southern Exposure” took first place in the photography category as well as being awarded Best of Show by those attending the event.
“Southern Exposure,” said Morrison “is an HDR shot, where three different exposures were merged to create the final image. It was taken off Highway 20 toward Hampton. Just for scale, you can see a cow near the base of the tree in the center.”
