Print Is Not Dead, Yet

Print is not dead. At least not yet anyway.

With the economy seemingly in a downward spiral, printed publications are having to resort to new methods to keep afloat, including layoffs.  This is no secret.  But many companies are struggling and printed media, though some have written it off, is not dead.  At least not as of yet.  Before you decide to transition all of your marketing efforts away from print and onto the web, you might want to reconsider.

National Award Winner

Creation Cafe founder and Creative Director was recently the recipient of some great news.  Morrison’s photography titled “Simply Southern Jubilee” won First Place in the People on Battlefields category. 

Morrison Takes Home First Place and Best of Show Award

The Visual Artist’s Collective (VAC), an art organization based in Henry County, held their annual Christmas With the Arts event.  The event, which involves the Henry Arts Alliance and Henry Players, features some of the best creative talents in the County.

Morrison Makes Henry Neighbor Front Page

Visual Artist’s Collective President and Creation Cafe Creative Director is featured on the front page of the Henry Neighbor Newspaper, Henry County’s largest circulation newspaper. The article was printed in Vol 22., No. 14. The article, written by news editor Nicole Hollimon contained photographs taken by Mike Jacoby.

New Masters of Photoshop 2 Hits Stores

The design community really took in the first book, New Masters of Photoshop and so a follow-up was planned. Friends of Ed reached into the designer community to find those who not only represented a certain style, but possessed the ability to teach others their unique ability.
